about Red Robin Nursery
Red Robin Nursery is located in and around a renovated 150 year old barn on a working cattle farm.
The barn was falling into disrepair and with no real commercial value for the farm bussiness to restore it, its future was uncertain.
Then an idea sprouted; to combine my love of gardening, a lack of a local nursery and the restoration of the barn into a new bussiness for the local area.
The idea is to give locals and visitors to the area a place to visit and buy plants. With a range of plants to suit all parts of the garden from your veggie patch to your flower gardens, perennial boarders to hedging and trees we hope to cater to many garden styles.
We source our plants form areas with a similar climate to our own such as the southern highlands, Cooma and the ranges in Victoria. You can be confident in the knowledge that these plants are happy to grow here and will settle into your garden quickly.
We have many plant suppliers and if we don't have a particular plant, it would be our pleasure to source it for you.
Quality is uppermost in our thoughts when we source all of our garden furniture, tools, pots and accessories. As the saying goes ' ...the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten".

We are very happy to have the Little Bean Bar in permanent residence at Red Robin Nursery. The cute little retro coffee van can make you a coffee, tea or hot chocolate to sip while you browse or if you like find a cosy table in the barn and stay for a while. Relax with friends soaking up the heritage ambiance of the 150 year old barn. Home baked treats are also available.
